Today at work, I got a text from Cory saying that Cameron pointed to his belly! We have been practicing for a week now "Where's your belly??" and putting his hands on his belly. Well he finally got the hang of it and now when you ask him his hands automatically go to his belly. He looks so proud of himself. I loved seeing him do it when I got home from work.
My parents invited us to out to dinner at Applebees tonight with them and my sister. We never turn down a free dinner! Cameron had his normal grilled cheese, applesauce, and spinach and artichoke dip (which he loves). My mom surprised us when she told Cameron she had bought him Yo Gabba Gabba Live! tickets for the show in Indy in October! For those of you who know Cam, you know that he is obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba and all we have to do to calm him down or keep him occupied is start one of our 35 DVR'd episodes. For some reason he is mesmerized by it. So we are super excited to be able to take him this fall! I hope that he will enjoy it, but I am scared that they won't be doing it much longer since a lot of toys have been disappearing from the stores so I don't know if Gabba is about to end. Plus I want him to go before he outgrows liking the show. So THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA O'BRIEN!!!
Cam is super good with helping daddy mow the yard!!!Cory's mom is coming in town tomorrow to watch Cam so Cory can get a lot of yardwork done! Cameron loves having her here so he will be excited tomorrow when she shows up! We don't have too many plans for the weekend, which is great because it seems like we have either been super busy in or out of town the past 2 months. It will be nice to actually relax! Maybe I will update Sunday night on our very chill weekend! Until then... :)
